Cold-formed C-section Steel
Product Overview
Cold-formed C-section steel, also known as C purlin, is continuously roll-formed from galvanized steel strip or black annealed steel strip without high-temperature heating. Custom cutting length and pre-punched bolt holes are available. With a rational cross-section structure, it is the key profile for steel building enclosure systems.
Key Advantages
- Excellent mechanical performance Optimized C-shaped cross-section provides strong bending resistance with light self-weight, reducing building load and overall steel cost.
- Flexible processing service Length, hole position and hole spacing can be customized. Galvanized surface treatment is optional for superior anti-corrosion performance suitable for outdoor environments.
- Fast on-site installation Standardized profiles enable easy splicing and bolt connection, shortening construction time of workshops and warehouses.
- Convenient transport & storage Neat shape allows multi-layer stacking, saving shipping space and logistics cost.
Application
Widely used in steel workshops, warehouses and market buildings as roof purlins and wall purlins. It can also be manufactured into small equipment supports, photovoltaic brackets, simple frames and partition keels.
